Caring for the earth is an Islamic trust (amanah). Our green initiatives reduce waste and promote sustainability across the centre.
Stewardship of the earth
The Prophet ﷺ taught that the earth is a trust and that even planting a tree is an ongoing charity. Our green initiatives translate that teaching into practical action at the masjid and in our community.
What we do
From recycling stations and reducing single-use plastics at community meals to energy-conscious facility upgrades and community clean-ups, we are continually finding ways to lower our footprint while teaching the next generation to value sustainability.
